What is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support for eligible participants with permanent and significant disabilities. If you meet the eligibility criteria NDIS will provide you with the reasonable and necessary support. Through accessing the supports provided by NDIS you can achieve your life goals and can improve your independence.

How will NDIS help me?

Through NDIS you can access:

  • Community services and supports
  • Mainstream services and support

  • Reasonable and necessary funded support.

These supports will help you to achieve your life goals like Independence, education, employment, community participation, health, and wellbeing.

Step 1: Register with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

Step 2: You will receive an Access Request Form that will need to be filled out with the help of your GP/specialist.

Step 3: If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will be contacted by NDIA for an initial planning meeting.

Step 4: You will receive your approved NDIS plan visa post; you can contact Lifest Health Care to diss about the support you require.

Who are NDIS Services for?

People with a disability who satisfy the NDIS eligibility checklist can use services. This can include people with physical, mental, cognitive, sensory, neurological, or psychological disorders.

Age Requirements

A local area coordinator can help you understand the NDIS, file an application, and connect with other government and community resources if you are between the ages of 7 and 65.
